Wrestling Legend Kevin Nash to Visit Baseballtown on Thursday, August 1

On Thursday, August 1, professional wrestling superstar Kevin Nash will be making a visit to FirstEnergy Stadium in combination of the Reading Fightin Phils Tribute to Wrestling Night. Nash joins a long list of former wrestling stars to visit America's Classic Ballpark. Nash joins other legends who have walked the grounds of FirstEnergy Stadium, including George "The Animal" Steele, Sargent Slaughter, Mick Foley, Jerry "the King" Lawler, The Blue Meanie, Sunny, and Bret Hart.

Kevin Nash is one of the most well-known wrestling personalities over the past quarter century. He has a total of 21 championships between the World Championship Wrestling (WCW), World Wrestling Federation (WWF)/WWE and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). In 2011 Nash signed a five-year contract with the WWE Legends program. 

Over the years, Kevin Nash has also made a name for himself in the Hollywood entertainment world. Since 1991, he has appeared in over a dozen films that include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II, Grandma's Boy, The Punshier, The Longest Yard, Rock of Ages and most recently Magic Mike.

Fans of the professional wrestler and actor have a chance to meet the star this Thursday night. Fans can purchase special Kevin Nash Pre-Game VIP Meet and Greet tickets for $20, which will include a private autograph and photo session from 5:00-6:00 pm. All fans have the opportunity to meet and get one item (provided by fan) autographed by the wrestling legend when the game begins at 7:05 pm. Fans can have your photo taken with Kevin Nash for $7. Additionally, 8"x10" glossy photos are available for only $7.

Continuing the Tribute to Wrestling night theme, following the game, fans can enjoy a special post-game wrestling show featuring the superstars of Wrestling is Fun! thanks to Rock Hits Y102. The matches will take place in VIST Bank Plaza immediately following the post-game fireworks show thanks to Pepsi. Wrestling is Fun! is a family friendly wrestling company that puts on a show for all ages.

Thursday night also features a special Happy Hour with $1 off beer from 5:00 to 6:00 pm and a pre-game concert featuring Mallon Hill from 5:00 until 6:40 pm. Furthermore, Redner's Fightin Phils Kids Club members can access Phunland for free from 5:00 to 5:30 pm during the first portion of our Happy Half-Hour thanks to Redner's Warehouse Markets.
